Are you interested in volunteering and have a few hours to offer each week? Do you live locally and have the skills that we’re looking for? If you enjoy meeting people and are interested in local history and spirituality you might enjoy joining our enthusiastic team of volunteers. Most of us welcome visitors explaining the site if required. We also help run a little shop that helps support the site and open rooms as required. Some volunteers help by making cards, artwork and handcrafts for the shop and there are also openings for cleaners and occasionally for gardeners and people who can do maintenance work.
We are looking for people to join our volunteer team at St Margaret’s Chapel and the Royal Magdalene Almshouses. Many of our volunteers hold the space for visitors but in particular we are looking for those with skills in the following: admin/secretarial, finance, maintenance, retail, education and cleaning.
